Zgodba o »Eternity« se je začela v letu 2008 .
Gregor Bone in Jure Peternel sta želela združiti ljudi,ki imajo isti interes v metal glasbi. Uspelo jima je.
Prvi člani so bili Primož Bone (bobni), Jasmina Lozar (vokal), Jure Peternel (klaviature), Gregor Bone(ritem kitara). Po nekaj spremembah v skupini so se ustalili in so postali simfonični-gothik metal bend z imenom Eternity.
Člani Eternity so Primož Bone (bobni), Jasmina Lozar (vokal), Jure Peternel (klaviature), Gregor Bone (ritem kitara), Samo Mrak (bas kitara), Jernej Faganel (solo kitara).
Prav pred kratkim so izdali album - prvenec imenovan »What keeps us alive« ki vsebuje pesmi: »The man of shadows«, »Ashes remain«, »What keeps me alive«, »Dreams«. Lahko ga naročite preko e-pošte: eternity.band.contact @ gmail.com. So edina simfonična-gothik metal skupina v Sloveniji, kar jih naredi še bolj edinstvene.
Vse njihove pesmi skladajo Jure, Jasmina in Gregor, besedila pa piše Jasmina (besedila v angleškem jeziku).
Pravijo, da če se pokaže priložnost, zagotovo ne bo dvakrat pomislili o odhodu v tujino. Njihove želje in sanje so, da bi nekoč imelu turnejo v ZDA in v skandinavskih državah, od kjer zvrst glasbe ki jo igrajo izvira.

hm.. kolkor se jaz spomnem sta ga snack pa pub 33 zažigala lih čez leto.. MKC pa itak dela non-stop in tam res podpirajo še posebno kašne bol underground bende al pa tašne ki se morejo še uveljavit.. skratka če ne rata drugje, bi znalo v MKC-ju skoraj 99% xP

The history of Eternity started in 2008. Gregor Bone and Jure Peternel wanted to bring together some people with the same interest and passion for metal music. After several changes the first period they finally found the right persons and became the symphonic-gothic metal band Eternity. The band have just released their first four track CD, called What Keeps Us Alive. All the songs is composed by Jure, Jasmina and Gregor, while the lyrics are written by Jasmina. The band is an active live band in their home country Slovenia, but are of course dreaming about going to USA and Scandinavia, where the music genre they play is coming from.

Got in contact with singer Jasmina, a while ago and she sent me Eternity`s four track CD What Keeps Us Alive. Here we have a young talented Slovenian band that easy convince me about that we are talking about a band with a bright future in common. After many rounds in the player lately I have become a fan of their songwriting skills and style. Musically their main style is built around Gothic Metal with inputs of melodic metal, symphonic metal and I also feel they have some traces of folk music and some hints of progressive rock/metal. A great proof of talent we are served with the first track The Man Of Shadows.The song opens with some fine played keys before it kicks off! The song slows down for the first verse, the vocal melody is great and I like the way the song builds up for the chorus. Many good instrumental details lifts the song to a high level like the floating keys, the guitars and the drums also in some parts with great rhythm give the music the little extra. The clear strong melodic vocals from Jasmina, is nice to listen to and bring a fine mood into the music!The next Dreams is a more up tempo song, that opens with some fine played guitars. The melody line is strong, and built with fine rhythm guitars and floating keys. The chorus parts is rememberable and also this song have many fine instrumental details. The song speeds up at the end, a varied song with different styles and this grow the more I hear it! Ashes Remain opens with keys and Jasmina`s fine vocals, a beautiful rock ballad with a strong melody and chorus. Some of the parts have some folk elements with the flute like played keys bits. The song also have a fine melodic guitar solo that you will love! What Keeps Me Alive is the last song on this four track CD. A little jewel of a song and my absolute favorite song on the disc. A song with more tempo, but still with nice melodic verses that builds up to more aggressive sounding chorus parts. I like the riffing guitars and the keys also play a big part in this. Another cool detail is the talking voice in some parts of the song. A symphonic sounding section also bring the little extra into the song! After getting to know the four songs on the EP, What Keeps Us Alive, I`m sure we are dealing with a band we will hear a lot about in the years to come, so pay the band a visit and check out their songs immediately!! 96/100
